Prior to appearing on The Bachelor she dated Hunter Hamm for four years and thought of him all during her appearance. They got engaged on November 7, 2014. They were married in May 2016. On November 23, 2017, they announced that they were expecting their first child. Their son, Henry Steven, was born on June 6, 2018. On August 27, 2019, they announced that they were expecting their second child. Their daughter, Josephine James, was born on March 7, 2020.
