She met Ben Higgins when she appeared on his season of The Bachelor. She accepted his proposal at the end.

The couple settled in Denver. They starred in their own spin-off, Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?. They ended their relationship in May 2017.
She began dating country singer Chris Lane in late 2018. They live together in Nashville, Tennessee. They got engaged on June 16, 2019. They were married in Nashville on October 25, 2019. Among the notables on the guest list were four of Lauren's fellow alums from The Bachelor, Amanda Stanton, Jennifer Saviano, and twins Haley Ferguson and Emily Ferguson.
On December 6, 2020, she announced on Instagram that she and Chris are expecting their first child together. Their son, Dutton Walker, was born on June 8, 2021. They are expecting their second child in October 2022.
